The USPC Investor Portal & STO Are Now Live!

The UPSC Investor Portal & STO Is Live!

After a year of hard work, due diligence, and regulatory homework, we're excited to finally announce the launch of the USPC Investor Portal and our STO.

2022 has been an exciting year for us, and for the tokenization of real-world assets as a whole. 2023 is shaping up to be an even more spectacular year for both USPC, and the tokenization industry as a whole.

Today, we’re proud to announce the official launch of the USPC Investor Portal. This represents a major milestone in our journey towards offering a fully-compliant security token offering (STO).

If you’re inside of the United States, you must be an accredited investor in order to participate in offerings of USPC under Regulation D Rule 506(c). Accredited investors must either…

  1. Exceed an annual personal income of $200,000 USD;
  2. Exceed a joint annual income (with a spouse, if married) of $300,000 USD;
  3. Exceed a net worth of $1,000,000 USD (excluding your personal residence).

If you’re outside of the U.S., then you can participate in offerings of USPC tokens under Regulation S, and the above requirements do not apply to you.

For both U.S. and non-U.S. residents, certain restrictions, lockup periods, and other rules apply. For your convenience, we’ve prepared the below table. For a more complete table, visit uspc.io/info.

Please note that you should seek your own legal and financial advice, do your own due diligence on any investment opportunity, and ultimately, make your own decisions with your money.

Onboarding instructions:

In order for USPC to be fully compliant with the issuance of digital securities, it’s mandatory that we perform Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks on all token holders through our integration partner, SumSub, regardless of their geographic location. Additionally, if you are a U.S. investor, you will be required to complete Accredited Investor Verification (AI Verification) through our integration partner, InvestReady.

Both KYC and AI Verification are integrated into the onboarding sequence. The entire process, from start to finish, will take less than 10 minutes.

Note: Currently, both the KYC and AI Verification are not instantaneous. It may take several minutes for both processes to complete. If it takes longer than 10 minutes for your KYC and AI Verification to complete, then you should contact us at support@uspc.io or send us a message on our official Telegram.

Step 1: Create Your Account.

Firs, visit invest.uspc.io and create an account. To create an account, we will require:

  1. First name
  2. Last name
  3. Email address
  4. Password
  5. Country code + phone number

Once your account is created, you should immediately be redirected to our dashboard. Be sure to bookmark this page in your browser for easy access.

Step 2: Begin onboarding.

Now that you’ve created an account, you’re ready to begin the onboarding process. To start, click “Begin Onboarding” on the right side of your screen (or, if you’re on a mobile device, scroll down).

The onboarding includes a questionnaire. The goal of this questionnaire is to:

  1. Determine hether or not you are qualified to participate in offerings of USPC
  2. Collect necessary relevant personal data about you for financial and tax reporting purposes

When you’re done, a popup will display on your screen letting you know to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Connect your ETH wallet.

Next, you need to connect your Ethereum wallet. Note: all USPC tokens will be sent to the ETH address you provided during onboarding. If you do not have an ETH wallet address, you should create one. We recommend Metamask, but you should do your own research.

When you’re done, a popup will display on your screen letting you know to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: KYC

KYC is standard practice in the securities industry. We use Sumsub for our KYC/AML process. To begin, you will need to provide a copy of your government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport). Next, you will need to use your webcam (or your mobile device camera if you are using your phone or tablet).

If you are on a desktop or laptop, but your webcam does not work or you do not have one, you have the option to hand-off your onboarding to your mobile device, use your mobile device’s camera, and then come back to your desktop of laptop.

Please note that KYC checks are not instantaneous. Our integration partner, Sumsub, is running a background KYC check and this process can take as long as 10 minutes in certain cases, depending on which type of ID you are using.

If it takes longer than 10 minutes for your KYC to approve, you should contact us at support@uspc.io or send us a message on our official Telegram.

Step 4: AI Verification (U.S. Investors Only)

If you’re in the United States and qualify as an accredited investor, you’ll need to complete the AI Verification process. This is also integrated into our onboarding sequence and should take less than 10 minutes. You will be required to pay a $25 fee for verification. This fee is mandatory, and without paying this fee, your verification will not be complete.

And that’s it!

Once you’ve completed all of the above steps, and assuming your KYC and AI verifications are approved, you will now have access to the USPC Investor Portal. In order to participate in offerings, click on the “Offerings” tab and follow the instructions. Also, please note that, at this time, USPC will be minted once every 24 hours – so, if you purchase USPC but do not see any USPC appear in your USPC holdings, check again in 24 hours. In the future, we will automate this, but for now, this once-per-day minting helps us prevent fraud.

Congratulations!

We will be posting a video series soon containing walkthroughs, tutorials, and explanations about our USPC Investor Portal. Stay tuned.

This video series will be posted to YouTube, and we will share the links once the videos are live.

We’re excited to have you join us on our journey towards a more tokenized future. To get started, simply visit invest.uspc.io and click “Create Account” in the top right corner of the page.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

P.S. If you experience any technical issues within the portal, please email us at support@uspc.io or send us a message on our official Telegram.
